The swinging door
Realizing time had passed faster in distressed mode than in normal mode, he hurried down the hallways to the castle library where Sir would be waiting impatiently. I tapped on the door, and went in to see him reading the very book that was supposed to be hidden in the cupboard. How did he know it was there? Did I forget to replace it…I had been so careful…hmmm
Would he figure out that time was ending in a week? He hadn’t noticed me, so I placed the sandwich on the table next to his pipe, and left. I then made my way through the not so popular, briar-filled pathways leading to the wine cellar. I had to make contact w/ Cynthia right away…She would know what to do…being it was her that originally had the idea and would help me bring to fruition.
I left the 1843 bottle of merlot facing in the direction we had agreed upon if there ever were a problem. Ever were a problem now…
