Ficlets

I can be quite cynical.

I looked him dead in the eye.
“Oh Rodger, you silly boy. You actually believed me didn’t you?” I asked so amused I nearly chuckled.
“Of course I did.” He hissed.
“I guess Ive gotten better at lying than.” A huge grin spread across my face.
“Why are you doing this? I love you.” He nearly shreiked.
“Remember a girl, about two years ago. Chubby, short, sweet, completely devoted to you?” I barked.
His dispicable face crumpled with disgust. “No I do not.”
I Glared. “Of course not. Well she loved you. Than you asked her out on a date. She was so happy. She didnt find out, until you stood her up that is, that it was joke. One you thought was damn funny. It was the funniest joke in the whole school as a matter of fact. Rodger, the ‘coolest’ guy in school asking her out.” I scoffed.
“How do you know about that?” He asked in horror. He thought I believed he was as sweet as he pretended to be.
“It’s amazing what a diet and some hair dye can for a person.” I laughed, slit his throat, and walked away. Smiling.
