Matt never showed up. He was so angry at me. He said that I made him come off looking like he was nothing but a stupid obsessing ex-boyfriend. I had to admit I did but I couldn’t believe he got so pissed off.

That wasn’t the only thing. The tabloids had blown the story up into the scandal of the month.

“Don’t worry sweetie,” said my mom/agent. “We’ll sue them for all it’s worth. They will not get away with this.”

“I don’t care how much money we can get for this. What about what they said about me. One magazine accused me of doing drugs! They said that I was a spazzed out mess who will soon join Lindsey and Paris on the road to nowhere.” I sobbed. “But more importantly, what about Matt? I made him look like a total jerk. He’s really a nice guy and I treated him like a jerk!”

“Honey, that’s the last of your problems now. What about that interview on Ellen, you can use that to clear up the rumors.”

“All you’re worried about is my rep. And you don’t care who you hurt in the process,” I stated.
