The Culprit
A series of surveillance missions took place over the next few days. Detective Pillsbury headed the investigation.
Over that time he realized there was only one culprit possible of the family.
Not the father, a 40-something year-old with grayish hair and bushy eyebrows, no he was a pepper type of guy.
It wasn’t the Mom either, she was just, just perfect. Too perfect to be knocking salt shakers down.
Then there was the teenage daughter, always texting or listening to her music, never paying any attention. But it wasn’t her, she was afraid of salt, too many calories in it.
That left the boy. He was younger, young enough to get away with breaking stuff all over the place. He used the salt, a lot of it in fact. He was clumsy and fat (thanks to his major salt intake) so he could have done it on accident.
After going over all his information the detective was sure of it. Everything matched. There was a press confrence held that night.
“It was the boy.” Pillsbury accused.
