My sister’s friend’s parents are deaf and I have talked to them from time to time, of chorse the friend interperates. I do know some sign and it is pretty fun to do. Good Ficlet!

I’ve always wanted to learn sign, but I never had a chance. I know the alphabet and some simple phrases, but that’s about it. Very cool ficlet, and the mood here is positive, too! Awesome job!

This is based on a conversation I had with a deaf friend of mine. I was the lady in Subway, surprised by my silent companion while eating a six inch sandwich.. :) Oh, and yes, I do sign, but am very out of practice! :P
