Stories From the Surveillance Camera (Part 2: Kroger's Parking Lot)

All is quiet. Cars line up in rows in front of Kroger. A lone cart corral is in view.

A car mossies around the lot, pulls into empty spot. Lady exists the vehicle, enters the building. Silence.

Then…in the distance…”Ready, Set GO!”

Boys’ voices are heard – cheers and laughter. The faint sound of rickety wheels and clanging metal carts…gets louder, and louder…louder…

CLINK ! CLINK! CLANK ! WOOSH! HAHAHA ! CLINK! WOO ! CLANK! CLINK !

Two silver carts rush into view, each with a boy in the cart. Two more boys follow behind, pushing them faster…faster…faster…
It’s a good old fashion grocery cart race.
Carts rush out of view.

Then…

CLINK ! CRASH ! BOOM! WOOP ! WOOP! WOOP ! WOOP! WOOP ! WOOP! Car alarm.

Boys: “Oh my GOD !” “Hahahaha!” “Look at that dent!” “AW, shit…” “We’re dead!”

A cart wheel rolls into view of camera.
