This implies that the cat decided to take a nap in a basket of wet clothes. If the clothes were dry already, why would the humans dry them again? This cat clearly has a few screws loose, to be napping in amongst wet clothes.

The wet clothes feel good after running around on a hot day ;-)

X) maybe this is a lesson to check the moisture level of a potential napping spot.
The remark about humans being everywhere: that reminds me of a check-off postcard we sent once, and there was a section that said “The Locals…” & we checked “are everywhere.” This reminded me of that. ^-

not necessarily, you see if the Mom is finicky about clothes not being wrinkled and for some reason left dry clothes in a basket over night, she would then place them in the dryer to Air Fluff them and get the wrinkles out, thus not having to iron them :)

Or maybe the kitty made a mess when he was sleeping, and needless to say, the clothes were wet again! :)

Personally, I’ve always wanted to be inside a moving dryer…
