*He's* all I think about (7)
It was the day of the swim meet. Chase and I were standing on the edge of the pool, facing each other and holding hands. I looked into his warm green eyes, and he looked into my warm blue eyes.
“Good luck today.” I said, all girlfriendy.
“You’ll be watching right?” He said all boyfriendy.
“I wouldn’t miss it.” After that he leaned in and kissed me. Before I knew it I heard my brother say: “Ew. Okay loverboy time for business.” He smiled against my lips and reluctantly parted.
“Okay. Bye. I guess.” I said. I didn’t want to leave him. He was my first boyfriend, and I intended to hold on to him for my life.
“Bye.” He whispered. And then he left.
I saw my best friend, Michelle, in the stands, and went up to meet her.
“Hey,” I said in a cheery manner.
“What happened to ‘ugh, I can’t stand Chase’?” She accused.
“Well, now I can.” I gave a slight smile. I saw her roll her eyes, but decided to ignore it. Chase was up, and I didn’t plan to miss his big swim.
