Simon followed the officer and looked back at the other officer who brought the good news.
“Just sit in here for a little bit, this is Thomas Mendez. Thomas, be nice to Simon”

The room was silent for the first five minutes.
“Uh hey I’m Simon”
“Thomas. What are you here for?”
“They think I killed my friend…but we just found out she’s alive. so I don’t know why I’m here. You?”
“Oh I punched a teacher. Its not that big of a deal but to them its major!”
“Oh wow!”
30 minutes later
“yeah we named her Grace. She’s beautiful!”
“I can’t believe you’re still in touch with your baby’s momma! So do you see her often?”
“No actually I’m not allowed to see Grace but Madison snuck her out and met me at a park so I could see her…once though. not often. I miss her..I mean I was in love with Madison, but then it all happened so fast and her parents made her transfer schools and it was just beginning to die down but someone recently brought it up at my school”
