The Little Unknown Baseball Player Pt.5
The years went by and I wasn’t that player I was once was.
I was at the age of 34 when I had my talk with the pro’s over in America to have try outs to see if I would make it in there ball club.
I had made a great impression on the young kids on the team, I felt like such a veteran among them.
I had to play most of the year in the minors, which I didn’t mind one bit, I felt like it was as close I would get to playing in the pro’s.
With the year coming to a close, I was spending most of the time in the minors, right up to the moment when i got the call up to the pro’s
As I had made my way into the locker room on game day I felt the butterflies turning in my stomach.
Feeling sick to my stomach
A game so big
And I was here to help the club with whatever I could do.
