And More Finding
She had found a quite smashed but otherwise alright pineapple, and sat on one of the damp pieces of what was left from the furniture.
Blaire thought nothing had ever tasted as good as…er, salty pineapple.
But it was food, so it didn’t really matter.
Her thoughts kept straying back towards the little girl, Anastasia. Was she alright?
She had seemed terribly bright for her age, and didn’t deserve a mother like Diane.
Diane.
Just the name made Blaire angry enough to crush the prickly pineapple with her bare hands.
What a liar!
She even left her own child behind!
Biting fiercely into the mutilated flesh of the pineapple, she continued to mull over several thoughts, until Blaire decided what to do.
It was time to stock up on supplies, and deploy all the survival skills (if any) she had acquired during the long years in Zimbabwe and Kenya.
Doctors without borders, huh? I wonder if I’ll ever see my team again.
Blaire chewed thoughtfully, savoring every bite.
