“Bree! Where in the world did you go?!” Isaac yelled, racing towards me, appearing quite paranoid, “You don’t know what can still be lurking around here!”
“I’m fine. Relax. Does it look like I’m still in one piece?” It really annoyed me sometimes when he overreacted like this. Huh, maybe it was only annoying me because I ran into Parker today too, but I wouldn’t dare say anything about that. “So did you explore our old school?” He asked once he calmed down enough.
“Yeah…it was….great.” I said quietly.
“Good.” And he pulled me into an embrace, kissing the top of my head. I didn’t know why, but I didn’t react towards his touch. He soon released me and said, “So should we go back home?”
”...Sure.” I said quitely. Isaac soon noticed my silence and asked, “Man, did you seee a ghost or something in the school?” I looked behind me as we walked away, seeing Parker/Ginkloo in the distance, watching with a straight face, “Sure…that’s what I saw….a ghost.” And we got into the car.
