Risky business, that. You realize, right, that “coon” is an old racist slang term for african-americans, right? And that your raccoon’s accent could be easily interpreted as a black southern dialect?
Intriguing story concept, though. However, I don’t think I could stand to read more than about this much dialogue written in raccoon-spelling. It’s too much work.

i was trying a differnt style of speech since, for fun., but it was to not represent anyone one dialect
i used to work with raccoons as a biologist and wondered what their perspective was on us capturing them and working with them. i really was thinking more along the lines of an alien abuduction, but by people.
Well, hopefully people have forgotten that racial slur, buried it along with their tall pointy hoods. :) I liked your dialect, and choice of wild animal, but then again I own Watership Down!
