Father Liam doesn’t exactly help. I loved the opening lines. Someone as perfect as that would get on anyone’s nerves, I imagine. I liked Adele’s attitude a lot. Death doesn’t choose, unfortunately. Great job. : )

Neat view of purgatory and I like the character’s focus on the facts of their life, totally disregarding a very obvious attitude problem.

Reminds me of some kind of Buddhist temple where she has to find the Truth to move on. :)
