Okay, I'm Listening
For most of the next two hours, Jason begged me to tell him what Collin had said. I just couldn’t. I couldn’t, wouldn’t admit anymore of my weakness to him. I ignored every one of his pleads until I really had to think about meeting Collin.
He’s so unfair. Collin knew I wanted to be with him which gave him the power to do whatever he wanted because he knew I would still want to be with him. That’s confusing so basically, he knows he’s got the power to make me choose what he wants me to do. Jason interrupted my thoughts like always.
“What did he do to you, Allie?â? Jason asked in a whisper. “When you saw him … your face was like …â?
“No.â? I whimpered.
“Allie …â? he was pleading again and he stared into my eyes. “Allie, what did he do to you?â?
“I’m not telling you. Not here.â?
He grabbed my hand and started toward the exit. He headed to the side of the building until we were alone. “Okay, I’m listening.â?
I sighed and launched into my latest memory.
