Funny Bunny
As the day wore on, I slowly began to stop trying to contact him. He wasn’t responding anyways. He was obviously flaking out.
I wasn’t surprised. Okay, honestly, I was shocked to the core.
I was dissapointed so bad, I got nauseated and relied on Veronica’s constant supply of various forms of caffine.
Two energy drinks later, still nothing. I bitched relentlessly. It was afterall, the last day of summer and I was still without my kiss.
I sighed heavily. Veronica pulled me into the local movie rental store. “Hey girl, hey!” I laughed. It sounded fake even to me.
She quickly grabbed a couple B-list horror flicks. I picked up a bucket of microwave popcorn. As we stepped up to the counter a very mysterious looking boy stepped up to the register.
“Hoi,” I burst.
He smiled openly and replied, “Hello beautiful.”
That set Veronica into a fit of raging laughter.
I looked at him dreamily, playing along, and asked, “Baby where’ve you been all my life?”
And then I was genuinly laughing.
