Gina walked over to the chest and examined it. It didn’t have a lock, so she was able to open it. Inside the ches there were all kinds of strange things, but what looked really interestingto her was a book. Suddenly she heard a car door slam. Her mom was home! Quickly she grabbed the book, closed the chest and ran downstairs to her room. She slid the book under her bed just as her mom walked in.
“I’m gonna go to Jason’s house” Gina said grabbing her sneakers and putting them on. Her mom just nodded and left the room. Gina grabbed the book from under her bed and ran out the door and all the way to Jason’s house. When she got there she rang the doorbell and waited. Jason answered the door with two people behind him.
“Hey Gina”, he said happily then frowned, “Did you run a here?”
“Yes” she panted and waved the book in the air.
” Woah what’s that?” he asked and let her in. She looked at the two other people with Jason and then and Jason.
