In one of Garrison Keillor’s News from Lake Wobegon stories, he talks about a man known only as “The Drifter.” All he does is walk everywhere; he’s seen and done a great many things in his life just drifting around.
So, my challenge to you: Write a ficlet which could be a story of one of the Drifter’s adventures.
