Devil's Advocate Part 2
“Don’t call me by that name! I have a new one not tainted by your kind’s magick,” I shouted.
The wind and rain started to pick up with supernatural speed.
“Hm…looks like you still haven’t lost all your magick, have you Azaan?” quietly stated Dren.
“I have lost all of it! I told you I was resolved!” I said with an even worse tinge of anger in my voice from Dren using my old name.
“No one can be resolved after the crimes you commited against the followers of the other persuasion. And furthermore you must’ve forgotten my best talent! I know you still possess strong magick, I can feel it easily. Winds on the Middle Plane don’t pick up that fast without some guidance.”
“Do not remind me of the crimes I commited in times before. I am of the holy persuasion now, a man of God.”
Dren seemed to cringe at me uttering the word “God”.
“A man of God?” Dren cackled, “One cannot change persuasions after they’ve done so much to harm those weak human followers of God. I know you long to kill again…”
