Amnesia?
I winced from the sting of momentary pain the shot through my neck and upper back. Docters rushed to help me become stabile.
“Relax, trust us. Rest will help,” a nearby docter assured me. I lay back in my bed, frustrated from the insufficient amount of information i was getting.
More murmurs from docters to nurses, nurses to docters. A plump man gestured towards me with his hands as he argued with a man holding a clipboard. He glanced at me and closed the door when he saw that i was looking.
I turned on my side and again groaned some from the shallow achiness that battered my entire body.
A headache assaulted my tired mind, so i decided to obey the docters suggestion and close my eyes. I slowly drifted into a steady slumber, until the door swung open to reveal the man in the lab coat that held the clipboard whom i had seen earlier.
He walked to my side and sighed heavily before saying, “Jack, do you really not remember?”
I blinked in confusion and replied, “Whose Jack?”*
