Outlaw Cloaks #19
I walked out of the room after that. I was sick of waiting in that boring room all the time. the hallway was so long and narrow, my eyes went wild at the fact that I couldn’t see the end of it.
I walked to the right, because they say that people who are scared tend to go left. I wasn’t scared. Quite the opposite. I was anxious to do something exciting, and sitting in a drab, vacant room wasn’t my idea of fun.
there were doors on both sides of the hall, each one different. I glanced around the open ones, but some were locked and had rather strange noises erupting from them, so I tended not to trifle with those kind.
I walked down the hall for about a mile and then I came face to face with a large, ancient door with a large padlock on it. I heard a strange noise coming from it, so my legs went to walk away but my mind pulled me towards the room.
I slid my hand across the chain, which rattled for a second and then disappeared. My mind didn’t waver. I opened the door and walked into a field of death.
