Since before recorded history, man has dreamed of learning the secrets hidden in the stars. Not until the second half of the 20th Century did mankind break free of the shackles of the Earth to plumb the vastness of the solar system beyond.

This process of discovery continues to this day. The innovation, drive and courage of NASA personnel (as limitless as the universe itself) are essential to humanity’s space development. The dedicated men and women of the Agency are the newest breed of explorers, pushing the boundaries of science, knowledge and human accomplishment.

The leading edge of this effort is the NASA Advisory Council. Unknown to the public at large, NAC establishes special task forces when necessary to investigative new opportunities in space and beyond.
