Panicked Toby’s mother searched the house, the yard, under the bed, behind the dryer, anywhere she could imagine a small child might squeeze himself.
When she finally realized he was truly gone, she sat weeping on his bed. Reaching for the phone, she noticed the flicker of her sons television. He had of forgotten to turn off his video game, again. The thought made her weep harder.

Gasping, she sat down in front of the screen, barely believeing her eyes. Her son strode, alone through a sparkling landscape, dressed in gleaming armour, wielding not a carrot but a sword.
A glimmer came from the screen blinding and surrounding her. Her world suddenly went dark.
