Feel So Wrong
“Are you going to be okay?â? Jason whispered to me after a couple more minutes of kissing.
I turned my head to murmur against his cheek. “No.â? but I started laughing.
Jason looked serious though. “I mean, your um … wrists.â? He said in a small voice.
“Oh. Um, no problem. Purple always suits me.â? He groaned at my sarcasm and sighed loudly.
“I’m sorry. I just … overreacted. You were really pushing it, you know.â?
“Uh huh. I know.â? I smiled smugly and Jason pushed my shoulder playfully. But it hurt. It felt too sore there already for him to be playing. I tried to not let him see my wince by grabbing his face and kissing him again.
He pulled away. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, let’s get one thing straight. You are not using me. I like you and you like me.â? I nodded. Was he stupid enough to believe me? Yes.
He kissed me more and more until it was shirts up and shorts down. But that was how it was supposed to be.
We were meant to be together.
So why did it feel so wrong?
