Eyeblight And You

What is Eyeblight?
Eyeblight is the common name for the “Epinson-501-2010” memetic attack agent. Also known as meions (short for MEmetic prION), a memetic attack agent is an image, sound, or other sensory agent that causes a transformative effect in the mental processes of the victim, overwriting normal thought patterns with the meion’s own.

How is Eyeblight spread?
Eyeblight operates by altering the structure of the human iris into a pattern that causes a cognitive feedback loop within the human brain when viewed. Victims report seeing a “sunburst” pattern within their minds accompanied by a low voice chanting a phrase, most commonly “join us,” or “one of us.” Within minutes, the meion shuts down the higher processes of the human mind, leaving only the basest instinctual responses: fight-or-flight and hunger.
