We have a lot of new people coming in everyday. You guys all know. So I think its time for the newbies (sorry but you newer ones are newbies) to realize that ficlets is more like a family, not just a place to write and try to make people read your stuff.

Here is some stuff that is really not cool in the ficlets family:
1. Noting people and telling them to read your stuff. Your new, people will notice you eventually. All of us ficleters went through the same exact thing.

2. Posting a bunch of comments to you can make most popular or most active. Seriously, if you have been here a while and I really mean a while if people like your stuff they will read it and you will make the top. Don’t cheat, because that is what you are really doing.

3. Posting put downs like that ficlet was stupid. If we give you constructive criticism we expect it back. It is really rude to just say it was stupid because we come here to be encouraged to write not to be put down.
