Silence is Golden
“Silence is golden.”
Strange to say that when the most silence comes right after silver sparkling white snow falls to the ground. When all the kids are watching the continuation of the snow fall in wonder and excitement, hoping school will be cancelled the next day.
But for one to accept silence? To want to just sit on a bench in the middle of winter and sit? Those people seem to be the ones that talk the most in other ways: writing, poems, songs, and artwork. Those are the people who would daydream all day in school. The people who always notice the little things that most of the world ignores now.
But for ones to feel enveloped in all that silence? Feel taken over and even have to talk to themselves to stop the silence? They’ll speak up for everything that they have against in the world and most would listen. They would defy all sense of government back in their day.
Silence might not always be that golden, for there are many other things hidden amongst the silence that should always be heard.
