The TV blared in the living room, spouting the useless junk as usual.
Until that little tidbit came on, Mrs. Harrison was just cleaning up the house as usual, after putting her kids to sleep.
She couldn’t believe it! Her favorite star, gone! Just to imagine that was horrendous!
Mrs. Harrison sighed, and sat down to watch the rest of the dramatic story unfold on the newscaster’s desk.
She didn’t even notice as a silvery image of a ghost watched through her kitchen window, tears streaming.
In her hands was a sign, but no one could see her or the message her piece of paper bore.
