Gutsy Great Gory Chase [Adjective Challenge]
It was a great day to die a glorious death. There was no good way to get around the gory realization as my gruesome, greedy foe came near holding forth his gut-drenched knife.
He struck with his grim blade, using a grand sweep of his gargantuan arm. I made a gallant leap back to avoid his grabbing strike. With a gritty dive I scurried away.
Rounding the greasy bend in the warehouse, my heart beat with a ghastly pang as my ghoulish pursuer made a grisly gargled cry of rage.
My gooey legs shook from the grueling pace.
I crashed through a door leading me into a glittery painted room, strewn about with gaudy decorations and walls painted with flowers colored in a garish, girly palette.
The door at the other end of the room beckoned me. Gleeful, I continued my flight toward the rusting green-grey door.
Seeing me trapped there, my gigantic pursuer chuckled with giddy laughter, “You’ve nowhere to go now!” he said.
With a gutsy heave, I pried the rust loose and made good my escape.
