Black Daliah
The light droplits of rain are soft on my skin, almost like butterfly wings. The light of the shard of moon peeking out from the clouds seeps in a sloppy line over the shore. I feel cold water pool around my feet. I don’t know how long I’ve been waiting. It feels like forever, but who knows for sure?
“Shinade?” I whip my head around, my damp hair slapping against my face. I see a tall slim figure walk toward me. Her ringlet hair is quite dark, it shimmers from the light of the moon. I right away envy her pecurliar beauty. Her eyes are almond shaped, her skin a creamy white.
“Daliah?” I croak her name, my voice weak. I watch as her lips form a smile.
“Shinade! Oh it really is you!” She rushes forward and hugs me tightly. I feel a wave of emotion wash over me. Tears roll down my inflamed cheeks. Finally, I had found my sister, after twenty-six years, I had found her.
