George picked up his cell phone and dialed his wife
“Uhh.. hey honey!â€? He said. He decided to play happy like he wanted this to happen and it was all under control.
“Aww you never call me to say hi. How are you darling.â€? He got fired. She knew he did, but she was gunna make him say it!
“Well uhh… Ha. I quit work today!â€? He could see her cocking an inquiring eyebrow over the phone.
“ Aww sweetie, that’s great! Why did you get fired this time?â€? she said sarcasticly. “He ALWAYS gets fired! That is why I had to get a job! HA! He just gets a job to avoid the term stay at home dad!
“Umm honey I quit. Not fired.. quitâ€? Ugh! I can never lie to her!
“Where you back talking Mr. Burnt?â€? Of course he was. If my husband was ANYTHING he was a smart mouthed jerk.
