My Slow Dance Dream (The Adjective Challenge)
My blue, strapless dress flows smoothly to the floor. I gracefully walk down the stairs in my white heals. My partner grins in a perfectly smooth smile when he sees my face. He is dressed in a black tux with a fitted tie that matches mine. His black hair and his brown eyes shine in the lighting.
I come to him with a wide smile on my face. I look around the ballroom. The oak floors glisten and the chandeliers shine in this grand room. He takes my hand and my heart flutters.
The music starts and I wrap my arms around his strong neck. I weaken as his hands touch my hips. We glide across the wood dance floor. It doesn’t matter what the slow music is, I am just happy to be with him. He is my handsome prince. I wonder what he is thinking. Is he lost in my glistening eyes? Does he like my blue dress? Is this where he wants to be? I know this is where I want to be.
That is my slow dance dream. If only it was true.
