“What’s going on? What are you drinking? Why am I here? Am I really a vampire? What’s with the blue torches? How long have you guys-”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down before you explode my brain with questions!” chuckled Aedin as he licked the red off his teeth. “Ask one question at a time will you?” Kamaria thought about this for a minute and asked “What am I doing here?”
Aedin’s smiling face suddenly grew dark and his violet eyes shot to the ground. “I was hoping this question wouldn’t be asked until later.” Kamaria suddenly noticed the gloomy atmosphere in the air as all the vampires just stared at them with sullen faces.
“Kamaria,” Aedin started as he stared into her eyes again, “We are in great danger and we believe you are the only one who can help us.” Kamaria’s stomach turned into a knot as she stared into those beautiful violet eyes. “Well, what do you need me to do?” she asked nervously as she looked around at all the other vampires staring at her.
“We need you to give us your blood.”
