The mythic war
I sighed. Things weren’t going well. But how was I supposed to know this would happen? It wasn’t my fault! I tried to calm myself a little, knowing of some of the people I was near. I was in the vampire equivalent of a courtroom I guess you could say. We vampires have no rule other then the rule put in place by all supposedly ‘mythical’ creatures. And that one, simple rule is “no exposure”. Humans can’t know of our existence. And as the leader of the coven I was responsible for Alex, who was being charged with exposing our kind to her lover. She said she intended on changing him after she told him, but was stopped before she got to him. The Paladin’s, the closest thing we have to rulers, seemed to have picked up a fortune teller. And they always keep a close eye on those who have relationships with a human. I was getting the evil eye from one of the Palidan’s. must be the mind reader. I thought. He smiled, and nodded his head. Alex looked back at me, and if our kind could cry she would have been. “Sorry.”
