Journeys*[24]

“Yes I can, and-” Cassie came back. “What’d he want.”
“Oh he just gave me some of the work you guys did.”
“Nice.” I met Erica’s eyes.
“Can we just get this over with?” Erica crossed her legs.
“Go ahead.” Cassie handed her the paper.
“Go ahead.” She mimicked in a childish way.

I grabbed the paper. I’m not failing Chem. “I’ll do it.’‘
“No, I can do this, I’m not stupid.”
“Are you sure?” Cassie joked.
“Haha.” I laughed.
“God shut up Cassie, your such a bitch, and Adam, grow up.”
Cassie smiled at me. I smiled back.
See. She mouthed.
I nodded.

15 minutes later.

“Done.” Erica threw the paper at me.
The bell rang. “Finally.” She got up and left.

“Hey how long is this whole vengeance thing going to last?” I asked as we packed up.
“As long as you want it to be.”
“Alright..”
“Hey if you’re uncomfortable with this, we really don’t have to do this you know.” She said with half sincerity.
“No it’s alright.”

We walked to Spanish.
