The Girl in the Wool Overcoat pt 14

“NO!” Sara screamed. She struggled in Jeremy’s grasp, but Jeremy had the strength of a man who spent his days lugging around big crates of food from one place to the next. His grip was iron, and he soon had her pinned against the wall, still struggling.

“Jesus Christ, Jeremy, what the hell is going on here, you’ve woken up every guest in the place!” Tommy shouted. He ran into the kitchen, saw the bizarre tableau, and stood there, gawking in bemusement.

“Don’t take the Lord’s name in vain, Tommy,” Jeremy growled, “and call 911. One of our guests just tried to kill herself.”

“Jesu—awww fuck,” Tommy grimaced, seeing the blood on the floor. “That’s not good. Need me to get the first aid kit?”

“And the restraints, please. And hurry, she’s stronger than she looks.”

“I trusted you!” Sara screamed. “I thought you believed me! You lying sonovabitch! I hope he kills you all! I HOPE HE DOES !”

Jeremy was about to ask who ‘HE’ was when the lights flickered.

A moment later, he found out the answer for himself.
