Three Wishes: Part Two: The Dollar
“Luck, what kind nickname is that if you do not mind me asking.â? I had asked the local stranger.
“It was handed down by a man, a man who had given me a dollar for my troubles.â? He said with a smirk of a smile.
“A dollar what good would a dollar do.â? I had said.
“Oh my friend this is not any dollar, not the kind you find on your daily trips of life.â?
He had not much to say after his final words.
Getting much out of him was harder then escaping your local jail cell, if you ask me I was sort of glad he had not talked much more. There was one thing I sure did want to know about was the dollar that he was given.
How could a man change his luck on a signal dollar?
“Well my good friend I must be on my way, I would like to give you something though.â? He had held out his hands, he held out a silver looking coin.
I had not hesitated much more to grab the coin, once it laid in my hands the man in the suit was no were to be found.
