Tenacious Prandi
Prandi stepped forward toward Milo, her finger leading the way. All his training was awash as he retreated step by step, until his back was literally against the wall.
“What a gross misuse of your authority!” she admonished. “There was no call for force, or at least you gave no warning before using your weapon on a civilian. You have gone crazy with power. Are you even on duty, officer?”
Paul whimpered from the ground, “Mummy, he’s gone tasey-crazy!”
“I, uh,” Milo stammered. “He, uh, snuck through the airport security check. It was clearly -“
“Clearly a case for airport security,” her accented voice growing louder as she grew steam. “Why are you even at the airport? Flying somewhere? I don’t see a ticket in your hand.”
“In fact,” Prandi said, her owl-eyes surveying the group. “I don’t see a ticket in any of your hands.”
Airport security clearly believed she made a valid point. They swarmed the group detaining everybody, including Prandi and Gladys, until they could get everything sorted out.
