Fog. What do people find so strange and eerie with fog? In every horror movie it seems as there is at least one scene with fog. And in these scenes there’s always like someone walking through a graveyard. And they always get eaten in that scene.

I don’t look at fog in that way at all.

Why should I? It’s a complete stereotype against fog. And I hate stereotypes.

Fog is really just clouds really low and close to the ground. Oooo, how scary.

Hmmm, not really.

I personally like fog. It always makes me think of the beaches up north in places like Maine or Massachusetts. It also makes me think of wharfs for little fishing boats. And then I imagine the early smell of the ocean and beaches. Also, fog is cool and refreshing, waking you up in the morning all the time.

So please, can we give fog a break and have less people die in movies when fog is around.

Fog doesn’t kill.
