Sonnet I

Oh Juliet! the most beautiful Capulet –
And the only one for whom I have fondness –
Your sweet face, I shall never forget,
And of your sweet, supple body – alas, I digress.

I must speak of your beauty unparalleled,
And how I long for thee to requite me –
As if you were not already thusly compelled –
And if our marriage night comes – well, we shall see.

And that is a good question – will we ever be as one?
Will you ever throw away the Capulets to become a Montague?
Your eyes, sparkling like a sun-speckled puddle, will have me undone.
I suppose then, that this is our cue.

Never shall you grace my home or my bed,
For alas, my dear, we are both dead.
