Residing Dreams (Chapter 146)
He reminded me of somebody I had known previously. A bit in appearance, but also a bit in attitude. There was a girl that I went to school with, Mildred her name was. She was one of the skinniest people I had ever seen. Casimir was almost as bony. She also had a bit of an attitude, and she was one of the people who trashed my father the most. We weren’t enemies, and we hung out with the same friends. Yet she wasn’t totally sweet and pure. She had issues, and life wasn’t so great for her. While I hate to say that she had much importance in my life, she was who I thought of when I met Casimir. But while she could dance and cheerlead, Casimir couldn’t play sports. He couldn’t have what resemblemed a normal life. Something told me that his heart was different than Mildred’s. Maybe it was bitter, but it didn’t have as much malice and spite. That made the matter even sadder, because I realized once again that life wasn’t fair. After all, not everyone got a chance to live it.
