Timeless
Katerina was worried… She hadnt heard from her parents in a while. Mind you, she was 18 and living at home while in college, but it was in her nature to worry.
Although beautiful in appearance and action, she was a very atypical girl. She shrouded her beauty with larger clothes, hiding her curves; she pulled her soft dark-brown hair back in a bun; but the most beautiful thing about her that she hid, were her eyes; warm brown, both inviting and intellectual. She hid from the world and immersed herself in her writing.
Kat picked up her locket laying on the table and flipped it open. She sighed as she stared into the eyes of the black and white photo of her childhood friend. What had ever happened to him after the accident? Was he still looking for her like she looked for him? Kat spent almost every day looking through newspapers, and on the internet to find him.
Disheartened, she decided it was best for her to go to bed. So she climbed the stairs to her room, an unnerving feeling in her heart.
