Residing Dreams (Chapter 181)

I felt as if a huge weight had been taken off my shoulders. I was free. I knew that there was still a long way to go, and many things to do. Yet I felt the renewed faith that everything would work out in the end, just like my father had said. I didn’t care what bigots thought anymore, no matter how badly their words could possibly hurt. I was me and my father was who he was, which was something that no one could change. Whether or not he would act on his feelings was a bridge we would cross when we came to it. However, for the time being, he took things slowly. I knew there were struggles which lay ahead for everybody. But now that I knew there was still love in the world, I was ready to face them.
