A Normal Morning
I tumbled out of bed, completely disorganized and hungry; my eyes (which were blinking blearily) immediately focused on the clock.
7:30! Damn!
I scrambled upright, quickly going around and trying to get things into a semblance of order.
Very soon, breakfast arrived and I had to sit down and painstakingly chew away at my precious food source. I looked at my schedule.
Dang. PE today. Man, I’m going to be completely tired…
I continued masticating on my breakfast, thinking about the things you usually think when you’re up way too early for your own good.
After finishing my pancakes, I took my plate down, and nimbly nabbed a chocolate dough chocolate chip cookie from the airtight taper, wedging it firmly between my jaws.
I vaulted back up the stairs to shouts of:”We’ll be late! Get dressed! Put on your uniform! We should be out of here at eight thirty!”
Grumbling several curses, I slipped into my school uniform and stole a glance at my computer before hightailing it out.
Ficlet idea: complete.
