Residing Dreams (Chapter 185)
On the matter of friendship, it didn’t matter who I had known the longest. It was those who had never left my side which counted. Though he needed help, I could see that Casimir was a true friend. He let me talk about it openly and honestly, so I didn’t have to hide anymore. That was a good feeling. “So what do you think of it?” I asked, curious to see what he would say. “I haven’t really thought about it much until now,” he said. “I’ve read some books about it, and I did some research. It was a very curious topic, to me, but I never really considered if it was right or wrong,” he admitted. “Why not?” I inquired. “Well, I guess I’ve spent so much time in this stuffy ivory tower that I forgot there were other people living in the world. I figured that since I wasn’t gay, it didn’t really matter,” Casimir said, frankly. “But this was pretty shallow of me,” he admitted again. “Anyways,” I went on, “Do you have any books on the matter?” I asked. Casimir grinned. “Well, this is a library,” he said.
