Madam President

Amanda Callad sat behind the Resloute desk in the Oval Office. Correction, President Callad as of 30 minutes ago.

She, like the rest of the world, was stunned that an online joke led a grassroots effort to place her as the write in candidate. Apparently America wanted change so bad that they were sick of the Republican status quo and were wearily tired of the Democratic rhetoric.

Swarms of lawyers from both parties packed the Supreme Court last November 5 to challenge the results. Two days later, the Supremes ruled 5-4 that the election was legitimate.

She looked at the 3×5 card in her hand and glanced at the names. She had to quickly nominate a Vice President, and get her cabinet positions filled.
