Can't Stop Believing (Theme Song Challenge)

The music starts up as I search for him. My dress sways as I still flow the music. I see his face.

“Want to dance?” I ask.
“Sure,” He says with a grin.

Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere. Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit, He took the midnight train going anywhere.

I laugh and he starts singing out loud as we rock to the beat.
Even if we weren’t going to be together, it just felt right in his arms.

Don’t stop believin’. Hold on to the feelin’, streetlight people.

When the song ends and he leaves, I sigh to myself. I am not a small town girl and he is not a city boy but maybe I can’t stop believing that anything is possible. I have to believe that one day I am going to meet a guy that actually wants me.
