Her Panic
This was crap. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap. Crap not just because Ryan happened to be in my Dramatic Lit. class. Crap not because this was Ryan-from-camp-in-6th-grade. It was crap because this was first crush, first kiss on the cheek, first kind of boyfriend Ryan.
You would’ve liked him too!
Yep, Katie, pretty much. Just take out the “would’ve” and we can start playing truth or dare. I dare you to give up on a guy for once, so we don’t have to deal with this.
And I really don’t want to have to. I mean, how awkward could that possibly be? My best friend stalking/crushing on/going out with, god forbid my middle school boyfriendish type thing.
I was definitely not going to let this happen without a fight.
“Yeah, he’s in English with me.” I nodded, trying to look thoughtful so I didn’t look completely as freaked as I felt.
“You know him? I didn’t even know he went to school here.”
“Yep, he does,” I stood up. No way was I letting this happen, “I’ll get him off your back. Trust me, he’s not worth it.”
