“Alright, whatever.” I get out of the car and sigh. “See you in English.” I hurry into the school before he can say another word and make me promise something else.

As soon as I get to my locker, Lily rushes over to talk to me. “Hey, Kacey! Tonight will be great! What’s your plan?”

It’s much too early for this. “Um, yeah. My plan for what?”
“For seducing Jack, of course. Duh. Anyway, I’m thinking that-”
I cut her off in shock. “For seducing Jack? What are you talking about? Okay, you’re obviously mistaken, we’re just-”
“Just friends?” She rolls her eyes. “I’m a girl, Kacey, I’m not entirely oblivious. I’ve seen the way you look at him. So I’ve decided that it’s my goal to see you two get together.”
