You always think you have the perfect guy the one who says “I love you.” One thing you should always do is follow your gut. If it tells you he isn’t the right one, then he’s not. If it tells you he’s lying, he is. If it says he really does mean it, then he does. It hasn’t happened once and to only a few people.
When you get those butterflies in your stomach when you see them or hear them, that’s when you know you truly do like them.
When a guy is willing so show you off to his friends when you look like you just got out of bed, he truly does care about you. When a guy will go to a completely girly movie with you and doesn’t fall asleep he really cares about you.

This is my opinion and it really has happened to a lot of people besides me, so take my word for it.
